Six at Phum 2, Svay Khlaing Village, Kompong Cham Province
Kompong Cham, 22 Dec - A number of six cows slaughtered at Phum 2 Village, Svay Khlaing, Kroch Chmar District, Kompong Cham Province, Cambodia. Most of the portion came from our Malaysian Brothers staying at Saudi Arabia, especially those who work with Aramco.
Beside doing ibadah Qurban, we were also delivering Quran, Juz' Amma and Surah Ya'asin. Hj Mohammad, the team members represent us delivering Quran to Imam/ Head of the Village. About 100 Juz Amma and 15 Quran were been given.

Five Cow Slaughtered for Korban at Khla Krabe Village
Pursat, Cambodia, 21 Dec - Five cows was slaughtered for ibadah Qurban 1428H, at the new mosque Khla Krabe Village. This year is the 3rd year for Asian Federation Of Muslim Youth (AFMY) organising annual Qurban program at Cambodia collaborated with YAKEPT, Kelab Perantau Timur (Saudi), Jamaah Malaysia Qatar and Malaysian that stay around the gulf. Eleven cows was accumulated with the total of 76 portions, sent to Cambodia to be slaughtered as Ibadah Qurban for 1428H.

Qurban Annually Program
For this year, we appeal from muslimin and muslimat to take part on our annually Qurban program at Cambodia under supervision of AFMY South East Asia. The program will be conducted on 1st & 2nd day of Tasyrik, 11 & 12 Zulhijjah 1428/ 21 & 22 December, 2007.
Last year on Eidul Adha 1427, we slaughtered 22 cows for Qurban Program at Khla Krabe Village in conjunction of Grand Opening Ceremony of Masjid Nurul Iman, Khra Krabe Village

The Next Project - Islamic Pre-School Building
InsyaAllah, the next project under Cambodia Friendship Comittee is to build a building for Islamic Pre-School. The building (as a plan above) will cost USD 14,000.00. AFMY of South East Asia and YAKEP was launched e new campaign for collecting fund for the construction of the building.
According to the Project Manager, Hj Mohd Draman, AFMY's Chairman agreed to make a trip to Cambodia at the end of July. to officially launching the construction work at the site, beside the mosque of Kg Khla Krabe, Pursat, Cambodia

Mosque Opening Ceremony
On the 2nd Day of Tasriq 1427H, Khla Krabe Mosque was officially open. The ceremony was launched in two session; at night the ceremony was celebrated by all muslim community in the presence of Dato' Seri Tuan Guru Hj Abdul Hadi Awang, Members of International Al-Quds Foundation. The ceremony began with the speech of Asisstant Mufti of Cambodia and Dato' Ustaz Hj Abu Bakar Chik, AFMY's Chairman.
Dato' Seri Tuan Guru Haj Abd Hadi Awang given a speech followed by handing over the mosque plaque to the local leaders as a symbol for officially opening the mosque. The next day, the ceremony continues by cutting the ribbon, lead by the Governer of Pursat Province, together with Dato' Seri Tuan Guru HjAbd Hadi Awang, AFMY Chairman and YAKEP Chairman.
Twenty One cows slaughtered as a Qurban. The meat was distributed among the muslim community and muslim from all over Pursat Province attended to have a lunch in a Great Haflah.
Khla Krabe Mosque Completed
AlhamduliLlah, construction Khla Krabe Mosque, Anlong Thnout, Krakor, Pursat Province, Cambodia was completed as planned. Completion of the mosque before last Eid-ul-adha given the opportunity for the Muslim of Khla Krabe Village and sorrounding to perform Eid-ul-adha prayer in a new mosque.
